As
some of you already know, we
have been in a legal battle over
trademark infringement with another
hosting company because of similarities
in our domain name, hostmysiteonline.com.
Unfortunately, we were just notified
that the waiting is over and
we lost the case. This means
that we now have to transfer
ownership of the domain away
to the other company. This also
means that we are going to have
to move our hosting website and
operations to a new domain, which
is http://www.mitchellwebhosting.com.
This move to a new site will affect you in that your billing manager account
will now be located at http://billing.mitchellwebhosting.com but your login and password are
still the same.
You
will still be able to access
your hosting control panel at
the same URL as before, such
as http://yourwebsite.com:2082/
and your login and password will
be the same as before.
It
will also affect your website
because we have changed our nameservers
which means the nameservers for
your website will need to be
changed as well to reflect the
new nameservers. Since the nameservers
have been changed, it will put
your website offline if the nameservers
aren’t changed within the next
72 hours. If they aren’t changed
in time, your website will go
offline until they are changed.
If they are changed in time,
you won’t see any downtime for
your website. The nameservers
we used previously were ns1.hostmysiteonline.com
(nameserver1) and ns2.hostmysiteonline.com
(nameserver2). The nameservers
we are now using are ns1.mitchellwebhosting.com
(nameserver1) and ns2.mitchellwebhosting
(nameserver2).
Since
this happened, we will gladly
update your nameservers for you
for free if you want us to. In
order for us to update your nameservers,
we will need the following information.
URL
or Website Where Your Domain
Is Registered:

Simply
reply to support@mitchellwebhosting.com
with the information and we will
immediately get your nameservers
updated.
If
you want to change these yourselves,
you can follow these directions.

your site will be back online.
